Der Anteil mit einem PGSI-Wert von acht oder mehr blieb bei 2,4 Prozent. Jährlich werden rund 20.000 Erwachsene befragt. Die Commission warnt vor direkten Vergleichen mit anders aufgebauten Studien. Für Regulierung und Compliance liegt der Wert in konsistenter Trendanalyse und der Verbindung von Prävalenzdaten mit Produkt-, Verhaltens- und Betriebsdaten.
